Just feel like saying that 90 percent of music channels dedicated to making music in a DAW don't know what they're talking about 80 percent of the time. Try not to give too much merit to their advice without really thinking about it. Most of them are not "professionals" which is okay, but a lot of them prop themselves up as if they are and make poor videos selling you bad habits and mentalities. You don't need such and such gear, music theory isn't the plague, and if your sounds are drowning each other out you don't fix it by adding a bunch of Cymatics distortion plugins (the sponsor of today's video.) That's how you lose your hearing like I did lmao. Stay sharp, Slugger.

In 2023 I decided to start posting to Newgrounds and I began by posting an abandoned song just to get used to the upload process. Then I went radio silent for a year lmao. I'm going through a creative drought where I have no ideas, no motivation, and no will to power through the process of creating a song. I will try to start making some short, looping songs so that I can have some sort of presence on the site, and it'll keep me from thinking I have to make full-length, fully produced songs all the time. Hopefully I can just power through and get some stuff out there.
