Just feel like saying that 90 percent of music channels dedicated to making music in a DAW don't know what they're talking about 80 percent of the time. Try not to give too much merit to their advice without really thinking about it. Most of them are not "professionals" which is okay, but a lot of them prop themselves up as if they are and make poor videos selling you bad habits and mentalities. You don't need such and such gear, music theory isn't the plague, and if your sounds are drowning each other out you don't fix it by adding a bunch of Cymatics distortion plugins (the sponsor of today's video.)
